Me

Students will consider their own personality traits through the use of descriptive text types. They will us their newfound knowledge to write speeches in preparations for the selection of School House Captains.

Term 2

ANZAC

Students will use the genre of poetry to explore the history and traditions of the ANZACs. They will study and compose poetry in a range of styles ultimately reciting a range of original works during the School ANZAC ceremony.

Term 3

Inventions

Students will use the technology process of Investigate, Ideate, Produce and Evaluate to design and build a water craft powered by solar energy. These craft will be entered into the Maryborough Technology  Challenge competition.

Term 4

Critical Thinking

Students will deconstruct a range of persuasive texts to explore the strategies employed by advertisers to compose persuasive texts. Students will be required to compose a range of texts
