World Vision-
Tinana students have a 'World Vision'. Each year students in Years 5,6 and 7 volunteer to participate in World Vision's
Famine Fighters-the primary school version of the 40 Hour Famine. The children do a great job raising money for needy children in other
countries. For the past two years Tinana has been the highest
fundraiser for all primary schools in regional Queensland. Student
Council- Tinana students participate in a 'student
council'. The representative students are elected from years 5-7. Their job is to help
voice the other students' opinions, fundraise and develop projects that
would be of benefit to the students in the school. They also help
